I have practiced Yoga regularly for the last 23 years and became a yoga teacher in 2008. I have learned and continue learning from many amazing instructors from diverse yoga styles and backgrounds. When teaching a yoga class, I incorporate all that knowledge to address the needs and level of practice of the group or individual student. Join me in a group yoga class or practice with me in a personalized private yoga class.

Practice yoga at home or outdoors. If you live in the San Diego area, we could meet indoors or in a park or beach to have your private/personalized yoga class on land or on water (see SUP YOGA). Wherever you are in the world, the online option is also available via Zoom or FaceTime.

Although the yoga practice is personal and focussed in our own body, practicing with a group of likeminded people gives us the additional benefits of the shared knowledge, energy and motivation. Find one or more friends or family members to practice with you and contact me to experience this healing practice with your loved ones.

If you are in the San Diego area, attend any of my classes at SDSU’s Aztec Recreation Center with a “Day Pass” or join us every Wednesday at 4:30 pm for a gentle class in Hillcrest. This “Serenity Yoga” class is donation-based (sponsored by AHF Pharmacy).

Whether you own a stand up paddle board or not, come experience this peaceful and challenging practice for all-levels on the calm waters of Mission Bay in San Diego.

Practice partner yoga with a friend, lover or gym buddy. Practicing yoga with a partner increases trust, intimacy, union, communication and conscious breathing in mutually beneficial postures that usually include playfulness and fun. It’s a comforting, supportive and healing practice.

Massage reduces stress and also has multiple benefits for the body. There’s no need to wait until the body sends the message through pain to schedule a session. Regular massage is part of your well being. Take care of your mind and body with a 60, 90 or 120 min massage session to address your needs and/or relax and prevent pain and injuries.

I obtained my Massage Therapist (MT) and Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP) certifications from the International Professional School of Bodywork (IPSB) in San Diego, CA in 2009. I was nationally certified (NCBTMB) the same year. I maintain an annual membership and insurance from the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), together with the state certification from the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC #471).

We design each massage session based on the intake interview to satisfy your actual needs. In order to address your specific requests for a massage session, we will discuss what technique (or most likely, what combination of modalities) would be more effective within your personal preferences and levels of comfort for pressure, flexibility and time availability.

My training in the great IPSB College gave me the tools to effectively work with several modalities of massage: Deep Tissue Sculpting, Circulatory Massage (Swedish), Sensory Repatterning, Thai Massage, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Hot Stones and basic knowledge of some aspects of eastern medicine. In most sessions, I use a combination of these techniques, unless we agree from the intake to focus on one particular modality.
